It presents a detailed roadmap on to set up a PMO, including managing the major organizational changes that this implementation will entail. MP3-E - Implementing and Managing Project Portfolios

This course presents an efficient and detailed approach to setting up a project portfolio management process, including managing the organizational changes that it may entail. PROJECT HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
RH1-E - The Human Aspects of Project Management
Duration: 1 day
This course introduces participants to the non-technical issues of project management, the human aspects so often neglected by managers. It presents how project teams are created and evolve over time, and proposes concrete means to build dynamic, high performance teams. Issues associated to influencing with limited authority are covered, and two practical methods to quickly mobilize project teams are discussed. Finally, conflict resolution and situational leadership concepts and tools are presented; participants also use self-evaluations to measure their conflict resolution and preferred leadership styles in order to increase their awareness of how they interact with other team members and of the results that can be anticipated.
RH2-E - Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

This course is designed to help managers develop the skills and know-how required to overcome various problem situations and pinpoint potential sources of conflict throughout the life cycle of a project. Participants take part in conflict resolution exercises, learn the importance of adopting certain behaviors, develop an action plan and hone their practical negotiating abilities.

OG1-E - Introduction to Microsoft Project
Duration: 2 days
This course is designed to familiarize participants with all the basic features of Microsoft Project. It is unique in that the trainer has a broad practical knowledge of project management in addition to an in-depth knowledge of the software. It is necessary to be familiar with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word). A basic knowledge of project management is an asset.
OG2-E - Advanced Seminar on Microsoft Project
Duration: 1 day
This custom-designed course enables participants to fine-tune their Microsoft Project skills and thereby enhance the planning, organizational, management and control aspects of their projects. The course is unique in that the trainer, in addition to being a Microsoft Project expert, has extensive hands-on experience in project management, and is thus able to combine theoretical expertise with a solid knowledge of today's best practices. Prerequisite: minimum level of experience with Microsoft Project and knowledge of project management processes.
